I had the pleasure of meeting Fire on July 1st of this year and was immediately taken by her energetic welcoming spirit. It was a first-time trip to WI to visit my brother and his family. This is how I was introduced to Fire and her husband Peter, who happens to be a close family friend of my brothers going back years. She has since become a welcomed new treasured friend as well. For years (I’m 60 yrs old, by the way), I’d wanted to get a tattoo but was not quite sure what I’d like and who would be the one doing the tattooing. I instantly felt at ease with Fire and her guidance in navigating this new experience/adventure, which had a significant spiritual meaning for me. Again, I was visiting from outta town (CA), so time was of the essence. She worked within my scheduled vacy time. I was excited to see the progress, and seeing my vision come to fruition was amazing. Her business is located in her home, which has met all the necessary State Safety and Health Mandated/Standards. It was a safe, welcoming space and an enjoyable experience for me as a woman. Saline tattoo removal
I have a very meaningless tattoo that I have hated for years. For a while I’ve been on the hunt for a removal service and I stumbled upon Thank God Tattoo and reached out right away and heard back within minutes! I was able to schedule a consultation and removal appointment in the same month. The appointment was quick, painless, and extremely informative. I didn’t even have to reach out with follow up questions because Fire thoroughly explained the entire process + after care. She gets to know you on a personal level while also allowing you to get to know her, ALL while performing the service. She is the most professional artist that I have met and how comfortable she makes you feel is a huge bonus. I have recommended this shop to so many people and will continue to do so. A 2010 summa cum laude graduate of UW-Green Bay, Fire holds a degree in Studio Art and Human Development. With a 30-year professional career rooted in the arts, she has established herself as a celebrated artist, known for her mastery in both traditional and contemporary Native American art. In 2021, Fire embarked on a transformative journey, apprenticing under tattoo legend Ray Youngman. As the Oneida Nation’s first licensed tattooist, she proudly carries her heritage into her craft, bringing cultural depth and artistic excellence to every piece. In 2023, after completing her apprenticeship, she realized her dream by opening Thank God Tattoo, a private studio dedicated to creating meaningful and unforgettable tattoos. Wisconsin state-licensed and driven by her passion for the arts, Fire invites you to collaborate on a one-of-a-kind tattoo experience.
